Personal Information We Collect or Process

Personal information is information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you or another person. Depending on how you interact with the Services, we may collect or process:

• Contact details, including your name, billing and shipping addresses, phone number and email address.
• Payment and transaction information, including payment status, transaction references, the items you view or purchase, returns, cancellations and order history. Full card details are entered directly into our payment provider's hosted checkout and are not stored by WildScales.
• Account information, including your email address, profile, saved addresses, preferences and authentication records. WildScales uses email sign-in links rather than passwords.
• Communications with us, including information you provide in support enquiries, forms and email correspondence.
• Device and usage information, including your browser, device, IP address, network information and how you navigate the Services.
• Marketing preferences, including whether you have chosen to receive promotional communications.

We use first-party analytics to understand browsing, shopping activity and website performance. We don’t record typed information or payment details. Visit timelines are retained for seven days and anonymous summaries for 90 days. We respect supported browser privacy preferences.

Website analytics and your choices

Analytics disclosure updated: 20 October 2026. Optional first-party analytics helps us understand which public store pages are useful, where loading or interaction problems occur, and where visitors abandon shopping. It starts only if you choose Allow in our analytics notice. Choose No thanks to continue shopping without optional analytics, or change your choice through Privacy choices in the website footer. Your choice is remembered for up to six months using a first-party preference cookie and browser storage. We respect supported Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals.

With your permission, we collect public page paths without query strings, a coarse referring domain, active time, categories of clicks, repeated-click and error signals, loading and responsiveness measurements, and successful cart/checkout/payment steps. We use a pseudonymous visit identifier, not your name or email. A visit may be linked temporarily to its checkout to measure completion. Visits are not joined to our separate IP diagnostics.

We do not record screens, keystrokes, form contents, search terms, card information, error-message contents or private account/admin/wholesale pages. Short-lived visit timelines keep up to 60 entries per visit for seven UTC reporting days. Daily aggregate summaries without visit identifiers are kept for 90 UTC reporting days. Raw counters expire automatically within eight days. Temporary analytics checkout references are removed after seven days by scheduled maintenance. Existing order and payment records follow our normal business-record retention rules.

These optional analytics run on infrastructure we operate or use to host this store; we do not send these visit events to advertising networks or an external analytics platform. Hosting/infrastructure providers may process the information on our behalf. Our scheduled processing and backups can retain copies until their normal retention periods expire; diagnostic details are kept in short-lived Redis storage rather than our order database.

Essential security and operational diagnostics remain separate and are not switched off by declining optional analytics. They help protect sign-ins, prevent abuse and keep the store working, and may include limited encrypted IP samples, approximate countries and response-status/performance categories. These diagnostic counters expire within eight days. Shopping, payment, support and marketing-preference records are handled as described elsewhere in this policy. Allowing analytics does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
