Wholesale accounts

Wholesale access is available to businesses approved by WildScales. Submitting an application does not automatically create an approved trade account. Please provide accurate business, contact and ABN information, and tell us if these details change.

We review applications before making the wholesale catalogue and trade pricing available. Account approval does not by itself establish a credit account or deferred-payment arrangement.

Confidentiality and account security

The wholesale catalogue, trade prices, discounts, quotes and account-specific commercial terms provided by WildScales are private and confidential. You must not publish, forward, distribute or otherwise disclose this information, including screenshots or downloaded price lists, without our prior written consent.

You may share this information with staff and professional advisers who reasonably need it for your business, provided they are subject to confidentiality obligations. This restriction does not apply to information lawfully in the public domain, disclosures required by law, or disclosures to regulators or for obtaining legal advice.

Wholesale access is provided to the approved business only. Keep login details secure, restrict access to authorised users and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access or disclosure. Confidentiality obligations continue after wholesale access ends for as long as the information remains confidential.

Pricing and order requirements

Wholesale prices depend on the products, quantities and price list applicable to your account. Minimum order values, product quantities, carton quantities or pack sizes may apply and must be met unless WildScales agrees otherwise in writing. These requirements will be disclosed in the wholesale catalogue or quote before you place or accept an order. Any changes apply to future orders and do not alter orders already accepted.

Any recommended retail prices supplied by WildScales are recommendations only. You independently determine your resale prices.

Freight quotes and order approval

Provide a complete delivery address when requesting a wholesale quote. Freight is assessed for the destination and the size, weight and contents of the order. A quote request is not a completed order, and no fixed freight amount should be assumed before the freight quote is provided.

Review the goods, quantities, delivery address, freight charge, comments, total and expiry shown in the quote before accepting it. If anything needs changing, contact us before accepting. Acceptance creates an order; it does not mean payment has already been received or the goods have been dispatched.

Stock availability and order changes

Catalogue listings do not guarantee stock availability. We will advise you of known shortages or backorders when preparing your quote. If an item becomes unavailable after order acceptance, we will contact you to agree on a backorder, substitution or cancellation of the affected item, with a refund of any amount paid for cancelled goods.

Please request order changes or cancellations promptly. Any cancellation charges must be reasonable, reflect costs we cannot reasonably recover and be disclosed and agreed before order acceptance. This does not limit cancellation or refund rights available under law.

Payment and delivery

Follow the payment instructions confirmed for your order. Any deferred payment or other special arrangement must be agreed separately with WildScales. Delivery estimates are not guarantees; we will confirm the arrangements for your order and advise you of material changes.

Please check deliveries promptly and contact us with your order number and details of missing, incorrect or damaged goods. Where useful, include photographs so we can investigate and arrange an appropriate resolution.

Product handling and storage

You must follow the storage, handling, transport and expiry instructions supplied with the goods and maintain any required temperature controls while the goods are in your care. When reselling goods, retain relevant batch and expiry information and pass on applicable safety and storage instructions.

WildScales is not responsible to the extent that damage or deterioration is caused by incorrect handling or storage after delivery. This does not exclude responsibility for goods supplied defective or otherwise limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Returns and your rights

Contact WildScales before returning goods so we can confirm the return arrangements. Change-of-mind returns and exchanges are subject to agreement; do not assume that a return has been approved or that return freight is included.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law, including the Australian Consumer Law where it applies.

Suspension and termination of wholesale access

WildScales may suspend wholesale access where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected unauthorised access, disclosure of confidential information, fraud or another material breach of these terms.

For a breach capable of being remedied, we will explain the issue and provide a reasonable opportunity to remedy it before terminating access. Serious or repeated breaches, including deliberate disclosure of confidential wholesale pricing, fraud or deliberate misuse of an account, may result in immediate and permanent removal of wholesale access.

We will notify you of the reason for suspension or termination. Removal of access does not automatically cancel accepted orders or affect accrued payment obligations, confidentiality obligations or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future orders and will notify account holders of material changes before they take effect. Updated terms will be made available before you place or accept a further order. Changes do not retrospectively alter accepted orders unless both parties agree. You may stop using your wholesale account if you do not agree to updated terms.

Application acceptance

By accepting these terms on the application form, you confirm that you are authorised to apply for the business and that the information provided is accurate. We record your acceptance, the terms presented and the submission time with your application.
